Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, Miss Mojo is a potent mixture of irresistible vocals, unabashed brass and a rock solid pocket. Having honed their style in a city renowned for it’s music and party culture, Miss Mojo delivers a live performance that channels the liveliness and vibrancy of the Crescent City. The band’s music blurs the lines between funk, soul and pop, culminating in a sound that places emphasis on memorable melodies and infectious grooves.
Miss Mojo has taken the stage at historic venues throughout New Orleans, such as Tipitina’s, The Howlin’ Wolf and the Maple Leaf, and opened for a variety of local stars, including Rebirth Brass Band, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Naughty Professor, and Brass-A-Holics. They are currently working on a debut EP to be released in November 2016.
